Fears

All of us are afraid of one thing or the other right ?
It may be just dark, or spiders, or even something simple like teddy bears ( I know right ? Weird)
But yes we have our fears.

See, for me I have stage fright, I know i know who doesn't ? But I have an experience from my childhood where I had to deliver a book review on stage, and I stuttered and forgot what i had to say and it was a total mess. So, yeah I was scared both before going on stage and after coming back. See when hundreds of people are looking up to you to say something and you forget what you had to say. It is damn disappointing. I was made fun of, scolded and what not.
But later on I realized that I have to do something about it. So I decided to speak up, it was scary again, but this time, as soon as I had the chance I started speaking, out of the blue, anything that came to my mind. So two  things happened
1) I no longer had to memorize what to say
2) I was free to manipulate my speech according to the people
this really helped a lot because no matter how good at memorizing you are, you're gonna forget when you see a huge crowd staring at you. And when you forget, you're screwed.
So that's that, it also gave me recognition, as not many people are comfortable speaking in public.
As far as my fear is concerned, yeah I still have a bit of stage fear, I still get that awkward feeling before I go on stage or grab a mic. But what I want you to know is that it's a wonderful feeling to face your fear. It's the happiest you'll ever feel and the most proud of yourself you can ever be. It takes a lot of courage to do what you don't like to. But give it a try.

Do you guys like Will Smith ?? Yeah ? well anyway, he gave a speech, I don't know how many of us have read that, or saw that. He talks about jumping from a plane with parachute. Hell yeah it is scary, jumping from a height which may get you killed. But you have nothing to fear, because you have the parachute, you can even manipulate the place where you'll fall. Well not manipulate the place you can adjust the parachute to control where you go. And it's one great experience of a lifetime.
