The Basement (Part III)

It's been a great experience writing this story ! thank you for all your support ! Haven't read part I ?  Click Here !   And for Part II you can go  Here ! Seeing Sam so positive, Alicia tries to calm down. And says "okay, Did you see my shot ?" But she already knew the answer so she raised the pistol again in order to shoot again. But Sam stopped her "By the look on your face and your confidence, I guess you did pretty good". She had hardly heard this when the phone rang... She looked at Sam, who was holding the phone, looked terrified. They both didn't know what to do. Should they attend the call ? and give away the fact that four of their men are dead ? Would this bring more trouble ?  When Sam doesn't pick up the call, Alicia yells at him " What ? do you think he'll just think that his man fell asleep ? of course He'll be suspicious and will send more men to investigate why these four haven't returned". Sam shocked says...

Gratitude

We all know that thankfulness leads to happiness, yet we are rarely grateful to life and it's experiences, like if something bad happens, we start complaining, instead of that we should be pleased that life has decided to teach us something new. And isn't it strange that.. we treat strangers and even the people we dislike with utmost care and pleasant behaviour, be it due to fear or modesty or just to maintain our image. And on the other hand, the people we really love, how often is it that we treat them with care, give them our full attention and be kind to them ? Anyways I'm not here to complain or compare. I just wanna thank everyone who's been in my life, whether they've hurt me or made me happy, whether they're with me or not. Thank you everyone ! I am who I am today because of you guys ! It's been a great journey and I hope it will get even better in the future ! ((Let me tell you, the blog has crossed over 2,900 views)) So Rest assured you...

The Basement (Part II)

[Everyone who hasn't read the first part here it is :  Part I ] Sam manages to free Alicia, both of them still confused. Sam asks "Should we go looking for her again ?" Alicia (Shocked) says "After all this ?". Sam says "yeah she's our friend, but you've got a point". Both of them fell silent for a minute or two. Sam then says "okay let's try to get out of here" But as soon he tries to move forward, Alicia holds him, says " these guys must have a phone and since they  didn't return, their boss or whoever took Annie should be impatient and will call them"     Astounded at her daring Sam says " okay let's search their pockets", he kneels down and looks for a phone in clothes of the guy who was lying nearest to them. Finds nothing but a Magazine of the pistol he was holding. As he shows it to Alicia she gives a yelp of fear. Why would they need an extra magazine for only two kids ? Did they intend to k...

Little things (continued)

A few days back I was at a fair, and had to wait at a spot when an old couple came and sat beside me, well as usually I think that old people are pretty cute and experienced, I thought the same this time as well. as I watched this couple realization dawned upon me, these people were talking about the young generation and people at the fair but they were enjoying themselves too, though neither their children nor their grandchildren were with them, they were still happy.(( yeah I know what's so big in that ?)) the big thing Is that it was a really large fair and these people couldn't even walk properly and yet they were so cheerful. moreover his made me want something like this, a partner who would stick to me even if there's no one else. This seemed truly romantic to me.  The second thing is that we youngsters these days are so indulged in our gadgets, phones PCs and studies that we rarely talk to our parents, and trust me talking to them helps. Chances are that o...

Little things

How many times have we heard that little things in life are the ones that matter the most? We've always heard the example that making money and chasing after our reams are good, but they're quite less important than caring for our family and friends. Here i have some thoughts and experiences like that.            Have you ever sat beside a busy road at night ? simply sitting doing nothing. Some five six days ago, we were all going out for dinner in our car, when we had to stop at a shop and dad went to the shop leaving us alone in the car. That's when i realised how busy that road was, i mean we could see many many cars incoming with those white lights and almost same number of cars going away with red taillights. I was at peace in a world full of angry and hurrying people. It was then when i found out that even the simplest of things can be very beautiful. And sitting was captivating, you know ? the cold wind of the nigh...

The Basement

Three friends Sam, Alicia & Annie were in a basement looking for something, they decide to split up in order to search faster, but they had no idea how this was going to change their lives forever. For this is when out of nowhere one the friends, Annie disappears. As soon as the other two realise it, they start screaming searching for her, as she doesn't reply and there's no other sound they consider that she's been either kidnapped or that she's fainted. But soon the second possibility fades away as they search the entire basement and she's nowhere to be found. then on an elevated platform the other two find a note saying "finally my number 99316452"and after this at the end it was written " - Annie". As Sam wasn't quite familiar with Annie's handwriting and Alicia had studied with her, he Asks Alicia " is it really Annie's note ?". Alicia takes the note and examines it closely as the basement was very dimly lit as if ...
