Getting Over

There are times when people will leave you behind. And sometimes you won't feel a thing. Letting go is easy at times and is damn hard otherwise. So what should we do ? how to get over it ? what's the best way to deal with it or at least make peace with it so that you can live your daily life.
Well Let me tell you one thing, when you were born, you had no one else but your parents. that is one thing that will always be constant. See, even if they are not there, you always have yourself, that inner voice of yours will always guide you. The experience that you've accumulated over the years will always help you move.
Keeping that aside, what do if you've been left by someone pretty close to you ? that too recently ?
For me, I was damn sad, I cried, talked to my friends. But still somewhere deep inside the pain still resides. It's not as bad as it was when it started. so I can't really say how to get it completely out. But i can definitely help you out with the instant responses or steps to take when such things happen.

First of all, think, was that person that close to you ? How were you before you met that person ? And always always remember, that if he/she left you it only means there's someone better waiting for you.

Second, Don't think of Isolating yourself from the world, i know it seems very much like the best option. But it isn't. Imagine you're the CEO of a company and you're trying to do everything on your own with ZERO employees. IS it possible ? Of course not.(unless you've an army of robots at your back hehehe) Coming back to the point. There will always be someone you could talk to. could be your friend, childhood friend whom you don't talk to anymore, your siblings parents or sometimes even teachers. There will always be someone who'll be willing to listen to you, and if there isn't then find someone, you could talk to your classmates, coworkers maybe even your boss if you can. Heck you could even meet up strangers and build a new bond.

Third, Know what you like/love to do. This is a very important factor. knowing yourself can take years and it doesn't always come nicely. But when it does you'll be glad that it did. For these are the things that can change your mood in an instant, they can change your thought process entirely. For me it is photography, even if I take bad pics it still propels me, makes me think how can i take a better shot. But be careful, Too much of anything is good for nothing. know that it is not the only thing in your life.

Fourth, this is for the people who do not know what they love to do. It's very simple, you have a big plate full of cuisines from around the world that you've never tasted before. you just have to take a bite from some if not all and see what suits you the best. This is further simplified by internet, any skill that you need to learn is already out there, with full guidelines on how to being and how to be a pro in it. And I guarantee that with every new bite, you'll be driver away from the gloom. Doing new things is a great way of getting over anything.

This brings us to the last point, that is Goals Ambitions Targets Visions or whatever you call it. It is the desire to achieve something. It could be anything, from being a better painter to being a good teacher. there's infinite scope. Everywhere you look you can find a peak yet to be climbed, a prize yet to be claimed. Knowing yourself helps a lot over here coz it narrows down the search to things that you love. For people who are exploring themselves, it acts a motivator. If you keep your eyes on your target it's hard to believe that you'll miss when you fire. When you're dedicated to achieving a goal, it helps you move further away from the sadness of being left behind.

To sum it up, you need to first, know yourself, have friends and if you don't then make friends, do what you love to, and set goals and get a good look at your priorities again and see what needs to be done so that it doesn't happen again, and if it does you'll be ready for it. Thank you for investing your time.
