Little things
How many times have we heard that little things in life are the ones that matter the most? We've always heard the example that making money and chasing after our reams are good, but they're quite less important than caring for our family and friends. Here i have some thoughts and experiences like that.
Have you ever sat beside a busy road at night ? simply sitting doing nothing. Some five six days ago, we were all going out for dinner in our car, when we had to stop at a shop and dad went to the shop leaving us alone in the car. That's when i realised how busy that road was, i mean we could see many many cars incoming with those white lights and almost same number of cars going away with red taillights. I was at peace in a world full of angry and hurrying people. It was then when i found out that even the simplest of things can be very beautiful. And sitting was captivating, you know ? the cold wind of the night in summers, lights flashing and you have nothing to do. In our everyday busy lives we never stop to see the beauty of things, we never stop to reflect upon our doings. That's probably why we end up stressed each day.
Watching cartoons or animes can be very useful, unlike the usual belief that it is just a waste of time. Well for starters, it reduces stress, helps you focus, and may make you happy as well. To me these things have provided a lot of information, knowledge that no one could have given me, and an experience of a lifetime. Okay so there's this Anime Naruto, I've watched it when i was a kid of 8-9 i guess, then it stopped airing on Cartoon Network, but then in 10th standard, I found a website that let me stream Anime, and I found Naruto so I started again, but this time it really was taking away my study time. The most important thing i learned from it, was to never give up, no matter how hard things get. this person, Naruto was a class clown, he came last in every test at school, And yet he works hard every day, and eventually grows up to rival the class topper, not only that he becomes one of the strongest people.
One fine day after my 12th and one year after my competitive exam, I started watching Naruto again, but this time the thing it taught me was something very precious to me. Well this time there's a boy and a girl. The boy dreams of becoming the leader of a nation, and tells the girl to look after him, the girl indeed looks after him. in their group there's another guy who excels at everything. So when they grow up, the boy seeing his friend progress so fast, he tried to hide his wounds, and maybe thinks of giving up, this is when the Girl turns up, and tells him that she has decided to stick by him, so no more secrets. Heals the wound, and the thing that touched me most was that she tells him that I want to see you realise your dreams. I was in tears, because until now I've chased after girls, even if they don't treat me well, and this was how a true love should be, the willingness to stay by each other and the excitement and eagerness to watch the other person succeed.
